“The word “forcible” wouldnt have “redefined” rape–it was simply an attempt to codify this longstanding interpretation of the Hyde amdendment. Because the word appeared to be redundant and gave Democrats the opportunity to smear pro-life Republicans, it was dropped from the bill.”
The media and libs completely overstate and mislead on this issue. But hey, they also managed to look the other way about Bill Clinton’s rape accusations and his demeaning treatment of women. Or, how about Ed Shultz comments about a conservative woman- Laura Ingraham- “that right wing slut” Bill Maher? The War on Women is a made up political ploy to appeal to the naive and overzealous libs. What about Obama’s support for partial birth abortion? Isn’t that radical? When is the last time your heard a Dem or Lib apologize or demand one of theirs resign? Never.
“Most of the time it’s a form of projection of course. Liberals see themselves as sinless and heroic on matters racial, so their opposite numbers in politics must be sinful and villainous on matters of race. It’s a form of lazy categorical thinking that completely fails to take account of reality in order to sustain a self-serving narrative.”
Exactly. Liberals need to get over themselves.
“This inconsistency is very telling. The forces of “tolerance” and “diversity” are ever more intolerant of anything less than total ideological homogeneity.”
Mind boggling. Who are the haters?
“For the record, “puto” is Spanish for male prostitute. In Mexico its used for cowards and traitors.
And the audience ate it up like it was fine caviar.
This is what you get on HBO these days. And people pay for it.”
This has become typical of the left; vulgar taste with a classless and brain dead audience.
Jon Voight defends Brad Pitt’s mom after she gets death threats for penning anti-Obama letter to the editor
However, it seems the backlash surrounding Jane’s opinion has become so vehement that she has reportedly been “scared into silence.”
Liberal hypocritical fascists. Yes, hate does come from the left.
“One answer is the appeal of entitlements and a desire to be taken care of. It takes a strong-willed citizen to vote against receiving free benefits. But an even greater explanation is the saturation of Western society by left-wing hate directed at the right. The lefts demonization, personal vilification, and mockery of its opponents have been the most powerful tools in the left-wing arsenal for a century.”
Intimidation and isolation are the tools of the left. They personalize issues and over identify with their views.
New Disability Regs Limit Slope of Mini Golf Holes, Require Businesses to Admit Mini Horses as Guide Animals | CNSNews.com
“Among the provisions in the “Revised ADA Standards for Accessible Design,” which went into effect on March 15, is one requiring businesses to allow miniature horses on their premises as guide animals for the disabled. Another limits the height of slopes on miniature golf holes.
Mona Ramouni, who is blind, rides a bus to work with her guide horse in Lincoln Park, Mich. Growing up in Detroit, Ramouni could never get a dog because her devout Muslim family considered dogs unclean.”
Is this back door sharia law? Unbelievable/
“Identity is key here. In general, to win exemption from the left-wing critique of America, the affluent must construct cool identities as far distant as possible from the white Christian heterosexual male, who is most culpable for creating our present affluence from ill-gotten gains.”
Cool exemption for those drinking the Kool Aid.
“But the promise of his campaign four years ago has given way to something else — a failure to connect with tens of millions of Americans, many of them women, who feel economic opportunity is gone and are losing hope. In an effort to win them back, Mr. Obama is trying too hard. He’s employing a tone that can come across as grating and even condescending.”
A familiar pattern.
“What the authorities and the media seem determined to suppress is that the hoodlum elements in many ghettoes launch coordinated attacks on whites in public places. If there is anything worse than a one-sided race war, it is a two-sided race war, especially when one of the races outnumbers the other several times over.”
I was wondering when someone was going to talk about the numerous unprovoked racial attakcs in recent month (i.e. blacks against white). No mention by the national media or your typical race hustlers.
“Most Americans thought they were fighting for the country, not on Barack Obama’s behalf. Slip of the tongue, to be sure, but can one think of another president who’d have made it? They are fighting under his command, under his orders, to be sure, but this particular locution is offensive and solipsistic. Mr. Obama has switched his position on the sanctity of marriage back and forth and has a new one, again, today, revealed when politics made that advisable to him and to his campaign. Whether this is the end or he will “evolve” some more is anyone’s guess.”
“The United States has relied upon its Constitution for coherence; that’s failing. The president claims the power to kill whom he wishes, seizes private businesses, and starts wars when he likes, all extra-constitutional acts. Congress allows that and has authorized military seizure and indefinite imprisonment of citizens without due process[i]; the Constitution is now treated as a dead letter by both president and Congress. Add that a constitution is moot without the rule of law, which requires stability in the language. In American society today, words have made prophets of Lewis Carroll and George Orwell by losing their historically more stable meanings and becoming politically adjustable tools, poisoning the very foundation of a rule of law. Western societies resemble cracking glass.”
When reverence for the Constitution fails, so do a lot of other things.
“Recently, Ron Haskins of the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank, testified before the House Budget Committee on the growth of the 10-largest “means tested” federal programs that serve people who qualify by various definitions of poverty. Here’s what Haskins reported: From 1980 to 2011, annual spending on these programs grew from $126 billion to $626 billion (all figures in inflation-adjusted “2011 dollars”); dividing this by the number of people below the government poverty line, spending went from $4,300 per poor person in 1980 to $13,000 in 2011. In 1962, spending per person in poverty was $516.”
How did we survice in the ’60’s and before?
“But Jackson apparently had no interest in allowing students to come to their own conclusions on gun ownership.”
This is what a LIBERAL education does to you.
“I thought this would be about anti-bullying,” Tuttle told Fox news. “It turned into a pointed attack on Christian beliefs.”
Might want to mention he’s a militant gay speaker. Im glad a lot of younger people got up and left. What an A Hole.
